Welcome to the Compassion Kenya Holistic Youth Development National Curriculum.
The ministry of Jesus had a holistic approach. He reached out to the physical, socio-emotional, economic and spiritual needs of man (Luke 4: 18-19). The goal of Compassion International Ministry, just as the ministry of Jesus, is to avail to all registered child and youth equal opportunities for holistic development. The Holistic Youth Development National Curriculum embraces this truth by supporting the goal of Compassion International Ministry. The curriculum therefore consists of the four dimensions of human development namely spiritual, cognitive, socio-emotional and physical. It is our sincere hope that the youth will develop as Jesus did, “…..in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men’’ (Luke 2: 52).
